Approvals Academy Series
This three-part virtual training series will be hosted by ONEIA in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) over three weeks. Each session will cover a different topic. The MECP approvals team will lead the sessions, share their perspective and answer questions from attendees.

SESSION #2: Electronic ECA submission demo

Did you know the MECP offers online services for ECA applications? Join us for this session where Daniel Demanuele, MECP Senior Business Analyst shows you how to create a Public Secure account to access the platform, demonstrates how you can submit your application and supporting documents, make payments, and track application progress online.
SESSION #3: Permit to take Water (PTTW) 101 and Electronic PTTW submission demo
March 11, 2021, 11:00am - 12:30pm
For this session Ann Darby, MECP Senior Program Support Coordinator will provide participants with an introduction to the PTTW program and offer insight on preparing high-quality PTTW applications. Joshua Ng, MECP Program Advisor will also provide an overview of the new online PTTW submission process and show you how to submit your application and supporting documents, make payments and track application progress online.

SESSION #1: Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECAs) 101

This session will provide participants with an introduction to the ECA program and offer insight on preparing high-quality ECA applications. Bonnie Wilkinson, MECP Senior Program Support Coordinator will speak to what types of applications are available, where applications run into issues and some of the common deficiencies seen in applications.
