This full-day bus tour will introduce you to some of the most innovative processes in the Pearson Airport Area with first-hand accounts of their sustainability initiatives and tours of their facilities.
This year's theme: ENERGY Stops include:
1. Toronto Pearson International Airport (GTAA)
Tour the Airport's Central Utilities Plant which provides heat and cooling to the airport buildings and hear about their other energy projects including LED retrofits and more!
2. Direct Energy Centre (CNE)
See firsthand the multitude of conservation initiatives, specifically their renewable projects that makes the Direct Energy Centre an innovation hub for energy performance.
3. Canadian Tire Distribution Centre
Get special access to Canadian Tire's state of the art Distribution Centre that hosts several energy conservation and monitoring projects.
4. Baka Mobile
Learn why they converted 60% of their fleet to electric vehicles and see their eight charging station solar port.
