ONEIA golfers brave record heat for golf day 2016
A sold-out crowd of environment and cleantech
professionals braved the hottest day of the summer to enjoy an afternoon
of golf and networking on July 13.
As
the temperature topped 34 degrees Celsius, the day began with an
information briefing from the Ontario Ministry of Environment and
Climate Change (MOECC) about its cap-and-trade plans. Moderated by
Janet Bobechko of Norton Rose Fulbright LLP, the session shared both the
basics of the system and the province;s plans for the coming years (for
more info, please consult ONEIA’s twitter account at @ONEIANetwork)
Following
a BBQ lunch, participants spent the afternoon golfing under sunny skies
in a best ball format. For pictures of the event, please visit
