The Muskoka Watershed Council is hosting the 3rd Muskoka Summit on the Environment (MSE) on May 8-9th in Bracebridge. The MSE is a biennial event for the purpose of educating and promoting healthy debate on science-based environmental matters. This year’s theme is “Environment vs Economy: Resolving the Dichotomy” and aims to explore the thorny relationship between environment and economy and the perceived dichotomy between having a healthy environment and a thriving economy. The Summit will feature Canadian wildlife artist Robert Bateman as the keynote speaker and four other presentations from experts from across North America that will culminate into a panel discussion hosted by CBC’s Paul Kennedy.
