Hong Kong-Mainland China Outbound Investment Mission to Toronto

This mission is being co-organized by China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and our organization (HKTDC). There will be about 30 to 40 delegates consisting of private enterprise investors from China and some Hong Kong delegates. The major objectives of these delegates are to identify investment and partnership opportunities in Canada in the clean tech and manufacturing technology areas.

The Toronto programme for this mission will consist of company visits on September 11. Then on September 12, at the King Edward Hotel in downtown Toronto, there will be a briefing in the morning for the delegates on investment opportunities in Canada by Canadian government officials and other speakers, to be followed by a networking luncheon with local attendees, and then followed by pre-arranged one-on-one partnership meetings between the investor-delegates and Canadian project owners.
