ONEIA's annual Golf Tournament

Playoff adds drama to ONEIA golf event ....

ONEIA's annual golf afternoon came to a dramatic close on July 20, with a special playoff round between the two teams tied for first place, both with scores of eleven under par.  A team from Strata Soil played a special, one-shot, closest to the pin final against a mixed team made up of representatives from AGAT Labs, Affiliated Insurance and Golder Associates.

The playoff was won by an amazing shot by Strata that dropped just feet from the pin, making the company the winner for the second year in a row.  While the $10,000 hole in one prize from AGAT labs went unclaimed, separate closest-to-the-hole prizes for men and women went to Bob Redhead from Newalta and Amy Wilson from Maxxam.

Peter Ipema from Newalta won the putting contest.

The golf event is played each year in a best ball format and is designed to maximize networking opportunities for participating companies while providing a relaxing afternoon of golf.  Proceeds benefit the Association and charity Earth Rangers.
